Hue Rhodes ’94 wrote and directed this, his first feature film, which was inspired by Dante’s Inferno. Starring actor Steve Buscemi as John, a compulsive gambler, the story follows John as he flees Las Vegas and takes a job with a car-insurance company in Albuquerque. His new boss sends him to investigate a possibly fraudulent insurance claim near Las Vegas with another agent, played by Romany Malco. On the road, the two men encounter a series of offbeat characters, as John struggles with his gambling addiction. The film is scheduled to be released in theaters Jan. 29 in New York and Los Angeles, with a national rollout Feb. 12.
