Gevvie Stone ’07 took second in the Olympic single sculls final Aug. 13, capping nearly a decade of competing against the world’s best. “I love the sport,” she said, “and to reach the Olympic podium as the culmination of the journey is truly a dream come true.” Stone will begin a medical residency next year.
