Starting Out: Donald Judd ’12

Broadcast associate in the research department of the CBS Evening News in New York; formerly worked in the D.C. bureau. 

DUTIES: Judd conducts research and background interviews and fact-checks the accuracy of the daily broadcast. 

CHALLENGE: Maintaining emotional distance when events like the Sandy Hook shootings occur. “It’s tough not to get a little shaken up.” 

ELECTION NIGHT: It’s like the “best college all-nighter you can imagine ... you’re running on fumes, but it’s an exciting place to be.”
