In Response to: What You Need to Know About the Israeli Divestment Proposal
Those wanting to support Israel and those wanting to censure Israel should be free to do so, but not on campus. Protests and agitation based on information — sometimes valid and sometimes not-so-valid — should find another, off-campus site for such activity. It has no place on a college campus except possibly in a class devoted to Middle East history and civilization. Otherwise, the purposes of knowledge and true learning can only be undermined. College authorities should make their rules obvious and then make them enforced.
