Diz died Sept. 23, 2023, in St. Louis. He was 87.

He came to Princeton from St. Louis Country Day, where he was active in football, basketball, and student government. At Princeton, Diz played football and was president of the Right Wing Club and a member of Cottage Club.

After graduation, he served in the Army and then worked at the family business, Servomation Corp., until it was sold. In 1963, Diz married Patrica Fabrick and soon joined John Fabick Tractor Co., an international pipe-laying business. After retirement, he and Patti spent winters in Gulf Stream, Fla., along with several classmates.

Diz is survived by Patti, daughters Suzanne and Victoria, and seven grandchildren. The class extends its deepest sympathy to them all.
