James Montgomery ’71

Body

Jim died May 26, 2005.

Jim entered Princeton with the Class of 1970 from Exeter and his hometown of Ridgewood, N.J. A talented athlete, he played freshman basketball and roomed with future stars Petrie ’70 and Hummer ’70. Jim joined our class and majored in sociology. He was a popular member of Cottage.

Jim’s first son Corrin was born in 1968. He married Louise in 1972 and had a second son, Mike (born in 1976) and a daughter, Gabrieli (1980). In 1983 he and his wife, Louise, formed Sun Village Realty, a real estate and property management business in Sunriver, Ore.

He and Louise were still living in Sunriver in 2001 at the time of our last communication from Jim. We send belated condolences to his family.
