Jon died April 10, 1991. Jon came to Princeton from Central High School in St. Paul, Minn. He majored in electrical engineering, worked at Commons, participated in the Trenton Tutorial, and fondly remembered his first parachute jump.

He earned a master’s degree in engineering from Stanford, then worked as a software engineer, first in Sunnyvale, Calif., and later in Spokane, Wash.

He married Gloria Haycock, and they had three children: Jonathan (born in 1975), Julia (1977) and Steven (1980). The class belatedly extends condolences to his family.
