Norman Fox ’54

Body

Norman Fox died July 15, 2011, at his home in Brooklyn.

Born in New York City, he prepared for Princeton at the Lawrenceville School. He was a member of Key and Seal Club and was active in sports and dramatics. After graduation, Norm entered the Army and served two years in Panama.

Norman married Mary Patricia Brown in 1958 and began a career in the advertising business with various agencies, the last being Doyle Dane Bernbach. He then spent 20 years with Joseph E. Seagram & Sons Co. in international advertising, and as a result traveled all over the world.

He moved his family to Brooklyn in 1970 and became a devout Episcopalian working in his church as a lay reader, vestryman, and then warden. He also found time to serve on the board of directors of the Episcopal Family Consultation Service of the Diocese of Long Island.

The class sends condolences to Norman’s wife, Mary; their daughters, Jane and Hilary; his two sisters; and five grandchildren.
