Owen R. Terry ’58

He came to Princeton from the Evanston Township (Ill.) School, where he had been active in track and student government. At Princeton, Owen majored in psychology, was on the track team, and took his meals at Tower Club. He roomed during senior year with Harry Hadley, Dave Dantzscher, and Dick Thompson.

After graduation he spent several years as a buyer for Montgomery Ward stores in Chicago. In 1968, he joined the American Association of Dental Schools as an assistant secretary. Owen, a gifted writer, was the unofficial historian of the organization and served as director of the office of communications and membership as well as special secretary to the executive director. He retired in 1996 as deputy director and was named an honorary life member. Owen was interested in architecture and an ardent reader. He was also a fan of classical and jazz music.

To his wife of 47 years, Constance Ann Terry, and his son, Mark, the class extends its sincere sympathy.
