Robert Maxwell ’71

Robert disappeared while sailing solo across the Atlantic Ocean to Europe in the summer of 1975.
Robert was born in Troy, Ohio, and came to Princeton from Douglas S. Freeman High School in Richmond, Va. Robert majored in basic engineering and was frequently seen at the Computer Center in the late hours.
After graduation he went to work in the banking industry on the technical side. His high level of technical competence gave him confidence to attempt a solo transatlantic sail.
The class belatedly extends condolences to his family and friends.
