Susan M. Feldt ’84

Body

Susan was born in Philadelphia and came to Princeton from Scranton (Pa.) Central High School. She roomed with Citlali Bacmeister, Teresa Moore, and Marlene Wittman, and majored in politics. To help pay for her education, she worked at the circulation desk at Firestone Library. She remained fond of the library and kept in touch with many of her co-workers.

Susan worked for many years at Magyar United Church of Christ in Elyria, Ohio, as church secretary and personal assistant to her father, the Rev. William E. Feldt. She relocated to Ogdensburg in 2007 to be closer to her siblings. Most recently, she worked in SUNY Canton’s financial-aid department.

Susan served on the board of directors of the Lisbon Lions Club. She spent countless hours gardening at the Bowdish Greenhouse. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, sewing, and spending time with her friends and family.

Susan’s father and mother, Verna M. (Chapman) Feldt, predeceased Susan. She is survived by her siblings, Scott Feldt and Sheri Dawley; her stepmother, Alice Hewitt; and her stepsister and stepbrother, Tara and Derek Moran. To her family and friends, the class extends its sympathy.
