Set in Havana during the American Civil War, Harbor of Spies (Lyons Press) is a historical novel about American naval officer Everett Townsend, who, in rescuing a man outside Havana harbor, finds himself in entangled in a sensitive murder investigation and a world of spies, blockade runners, and slave traders.
