If Men, Then
If Men, Then (Farrar, Straus & Giroux), a poetry collection, explores the disasters in the external world around us, from war to immigration to poverty, while simultaneously traversing disarray of the inner-self. At times uplifting, at others distressing, Griswold employs a character called “I” in representing a battle with the self as the surrounding world falls to pieces.
