In Response to: The hookup culture
A March 4 letter by professors Robert P. George and John B. Londregan discussed “the culture of promiscuity known as ‘the hookup culture’ ” (not unique to Princeton) and mentioned a required event as a part of Princeton’s freshman orientation titled “Sex on a Saturday night,” which they believe exacerbates rather than mitigates their obvious concerns.
They also mentioned an event titled “Sex Jeopardy,” which Princeton freshmen are “strongly encouraged” by the University to attend, which supposedly invites students to show off their knowledge of such topics as anal intercourse, flavored condoms, dental dams, sex toys, and sadomasochism.
Say it ain’t so!
