Members of the Class of 1950 (aka Knights of the Round Table or Chevaliers de la Table Ronde) received lots of applause in the 1970 P-rade — and not just for their costumes. Two menacing catapults accompanying the marchers showered the crowd with 10,500 small plastic foam balls marked “1950.”
