These Princeton students, identified by archivists as the “Pride of Nassau,” watch the Tiger football team lose to Yale 26–23 on a soggy Saturday in 1936. Last year’s outcome of this yearly contest was much happier — Princeton defeated the Bulldogs 34–31. A win over Dartmouth the following week gave the Tigers their first Ivy League title since 1995 (although the championship was split with Yale). Can this year’s team repeat last year’s success? Fans will find out Saturday when the Tigers and Bulldogs meet at 1 p.m. at Princeton Stadium.
