Student protesters marched down Nassau Street in the spring of 1970 in support of a student who was arrested at the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA). Marc Rosenthal ’71, second from right in the front row, identified fellow activists Norris Manser ’71, far right, Anthony Davenport ’71, third from right, and Matt Meyers ’70, also in the front row, wearing a headband. The IDA, a nonprofit organization that conducted federally funded research at several universities beginning in 1956, was the site of numerous protests from the 1960s to the 1980s. Can any readers name other students?
