Purr-fect weekend

Forty Tigressions alumnae and student members were on campus the weekend of Nov. 12 to celebrate the a cappella group’s 30th anniversary. The weekend included a brunch during which generations of Tigressions — the second-oldest all-female a cappella group at Princeton (after the Tigerlilies) — shared their favorite memories and heard President Tilghman speak about the group’s achievements. After the football game, the Tigressions joined several other Princeton a cappella groups in performing at 1879 Arch. The evening culminated in a concert in Taplin Auditorium (pictured), where the students performed their most recent arrangements for Tigressions alumnae before the alums came onstage to help sing some Tigressions classics.
