In MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY, Donn Cabral ’12 won the individual title and Princeton topped the team standings at the Spiked Shoe Invitational in University Park, Pa., Sept. 11. Brian Leung ’12 (fifth place) and Joe Stilin ’12 (ninth) joined Cabral in the top 10. Sarah Cummings ’11 (third place) and Alex Banfich ’12 (fourth) led Princeton to a second-place finish behind Georgetown in the WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY Spiked Shoe race.

MEN’S GOLF placed second behind the University of West Florida at the McLaughlin Invitational, held at Bethpage State Park on Long Island Sept. 17–18. Bernie D’Amato ’13 placed third individually, shooting a 2-under-par 208 in the 54-hole event.

WOMEN’S SOCCER scored six goals in a win against James Madison Sept. 12 — Princeton’s highest total since 2004. The Tigers were 3­–3 through Sept. 21. MEN’S SOCCER started the season 1–3–1, with its first win coming against Fairleigh Dickinson Sept. 4.

MEN’S WATER POLO attackman Tommy Parolin ’11 scored two goals in a 9–6 win over Bucknell in the third-place game of the ECAC Championships at Cambridge, Mass., Sept. 19. The Tigers lost 7-6 to eventual champion St. Francis (N.Y.) in the tournament semifinals Sept. 18.
