Princeton University Art Museum

In addition to the mounted scroll, the exhibit, “Memorable Encounters from H-onen to de Kooning,” which runs through Aug. 2, features Japanese and Chinese art works from the museum’s permanent collection and recent gifts and acquisitions in honor of Shimizu. These include a hanging scroll from early 17th-century Japan, “The Immortal Qin’gao Riding a Fish,” donated by his former students, and six ceramic vessels created and donated by the artist Tsujimura Shiro.
