Three cheers: Members of the Class of 2025 celebrate at the end of the University’s 278th Commencement, held May 27 at Princeton Stadium.

Protesters from town and gown gathered outside Robertson Hall May 1 for a rally and procession to support workers’ rights and resist the elimination of federal jobs and government funding.

Launch party: Shortstop Julia Dumais ’26 connects with a pitch in the opening game at Cynthia Lynn Paul ’94 Field, the new home of Princeton softball. The Tigers swept Harvard in a three-game series March 22 and 23.

First snow: Henry Moore’s Oval With Points frames the Nassau Hall cupola after a mid-December dusting on campus.

Looking up: After a yearlong renovation, Prospect House reopened in September with a bright new color palette, partly inspired by its stained-glass windows. Updates to the 175-year-old building also improved accessibility and energy efficiency, according to a University release. 

Going the distance: Princeton men’s and women’s cross country swept the team titles at the Ivy League Heptagonal Championships, held Nov. 2 on a new course in the Meadows Neighborhood.

A burst of autumn: The changing leaves alongside 1879 and Laura Wooten halls greeted students during midterms week in October.  

Tack to school: A new exhibit at Mudd Manuscript Library celebrates photographer Elizabeth Menzies, whose work appeared in PAW from the 1930s to the 1970s. Her image of students sailing, circa 1958, is one of several that feature Lake Carnegie.

Big changes on Ivy Lane: The University’s ongoing construction projects include a new home for Environmental Studies and the School of Engineering and Applied Science, seen here from the top of Fine Hall. The complex, which includes 666,000 square feet of space for labs, classrooms, offices, and other facilities, is expected to be completed in the fall of 2025.

Grinning grad: Elizabeth Medina ’24, standing at right, was among more than 1,900 graduates (bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees) at the University’s 277th Commencement on May 28.
